“Me and partner Nick got married at the Bristol golf club a couple of weeks ago and we had a fantastic day. The sun was even shining! The venue is great for scenery for your wedding photos and the suppliers they use for your centre pieces etc set up the place to make it look amazing, it was just what we wanted. Even the colour scheme matched! The food we had for our main meal and evening buffet was great, all our guests commented how good the food was and that there was plenty of it! Darren did a fantastic job helping us organise our big day and also made sure it went smoothly which it sure did! He was very helpful with any questions I had to before the day. Would recommend the club to anyone who is looking to get married as you can have your ceremony and evening reception at the same venue. Thanks again.”

The staff as always were very attentive and helpful. We had a brilliant time together as a family. The function room was beautifully decorated and laid out. “Gave my husband a surprised birthday party at The Bristol Golf Club. Very pleased with the venue. Fantastic view of the Severn Estuary from our hired room. The staff was very helpful and attentive. We had quite a few young kids in our party, they catered the food to suit us and everyone has complimented the food quality. More importantly the price was reasonable. I will definitely recommend this place for any private function/event.”

“We wanted a private and informal setting for our Golden Wedding celebration and the Terrace Room at the Bristol was ideal for our 40 guests. With stunning views over the Severn Estuary and a terrace for pre-lunch drinks, plus easy access for those travelling from outside Bristol and a large car park, it had everything. The food was excellent with a good choice of menus and the staff were outstanding - nothing was too much trouble. They were all kindness itself and made it a very special occasion for us.”

The venue has one of the finest panoramic views of the Severn, with a background Welsh mountains. Management was excellent and well administered. The meals were perfectly cooked and presented and the service was efficient, courteous and very helpful. I would certainly recommend the Bristol Golf Club for dining occasions”
