Conveniently located just off Junction 17 of the M5, The Bristol’s Grade II-listed, 18th-century building benefits from air conditioning throughout, disabled access and has parking for more than 150 cars.

The larger ground floor St Swithin’s Suite comfortably caters for 120 guests and opens out onto the west-facing terrace with its far-reaching views across the Severn Estuary.

Whether it’s your birthday, an anniversary or the company get together, we’re certain we can tailor the perfect package.

“Thank you so much for your thoughtful and appreciated service throughout yesterday. Everyone was very complimentary and felt secure and safe. Vegetables on plates was such a success that we hope we can retain this is the future please. In this time of "depression" it was nice to escape back to the world we once knew and I know I speak for everyone present yesterday. We look forward to seeing you again the last Sunday in February, hopefully by then we might, just might have returned to some sort of normality. Thanks to you and the rest of the staff.”

“We wanted a private and informal setting for our Golden Wedding celebration and the Terrace Room at the Bristol was ideal for our 40 guests. With stunning views over the Severn Estuary and a terrace for pre-lunch drinks, plus easy access for those travelling from outside Bristol and a large car park, it had everything. The food was excellent with a good choice of menus and the staff were outstanding - nothing was too much trouble. They were all kindness itself and made it a very special occasion for us.”

“I have organised several dining events, for Groups, at many venues. I believe that the Bristol Golf Club is one of the best. The venue has one of the finest panoramic views of the Severn, with a background Welsh mountains. Management was excellent and well administered. The meals were perfectly cooked and presented and the service was efficient, courteous and very helpful. I would certainly recommend the Bristol Golf Club for dining occasions.”

“Me and partner Nick got married at the Bristol golf club a couple of weeks ago and we had a fantastic day. The sun was even shining! The venue is great for scenery for your wedding photos and the suppliers they use for your centre pieces etc set up the place to make it look amazing, it was just what we wanted, even the colour scheme matched! The food we had for our main meal and evening buffet was great, all our guests commented how good the food was and that there was plenty of it!! Darren did a fantastic job helping us organise our big day and also made sure it went smoothly which it sure did! ”
